A Great Place To Live
Located in the southernmost part of Berkeley County, Bunker Hill borders the Virginia line and Inwood is the community just up the road. These 2 communities are the choice for many commuters to the Virginia area. They both border I 81 so access to all places from Virginia up to Maryland is pretty easy. Proctor Gamble is located in that area. It recently built a huge facility and is now a major employer in Berkeley County. There’s no downtown associated with Inwood or Bunker Hill. It mainly consists of clusters of neighborhoods from townhomes to larger homes on acreage. The main shopping is located on 51 between 81 and Rt 11. It’s easy to travel to Martinsburg which is just a few miles up 81 where you’ll find more shopping choices as well as restaurants and a hospital. Since the location borders the Virginia line, there’s easy to access to Winchester and the Winchester Medical Center – a huge campus and sizable hospital with a large menu of services. Also, Winchester offers lots more options. Costco is in Winchester as is Valley Mall. So residents of Inwood and Bunker Hill have a wide variety of conveniences close at hand

Musselman is described on Niche.com as ” an above average, public school located in Inwood, WV. It has 1,609 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. According to state test scores, 26% of students are at least proficient in math and 58% in reading
Buyers with school age children from the area often request that their home be located in the Musselman School District. The high school is Musselman High School. Middle School is Musselman Middle. Elementary Schools include Inwood Elementary, Bunker Hill Elementary and there’s also Mill Creek Intermediate School.

SHOPPING, MEDICAL CARE AND JAY DEE’S
Just about all the shopping is located just off the I81 exit which is Rt 51 – between 81 and Rt 11. There’s a Food Lion Grocery store and an Urgent Care Facility in that area. Inwood Medical is a 10,000-square foot building Approximately 5,000 square feet of the one-story medical building houses Inwood Family Medicine and the new Urgent Care.
